He Loves to Stand
Mickey has been loving his little excersaucer! He loves to stand up so it makes it all the more fun for him and easier than me holding him up all day long...he's been exploring all the toys that are on it as well. He has started to grab toys that are close to him too. He doesn't really reach for things, but if they are there he grabs them. He had one of his Ugly Dolls in his stroller today and he just kept staring at it and touching it's eyes and grabing it. It was very cute to see him.
He's been laughing too! This past week he has just been really laughing at different things. He gave lots of laughs to his Aunt Cally at church this past Sunday. His Aunt Ember was rocking him back and forth toward her and she (Cally) would rub his head and he thought it was hysterical! It's so cute to watch him laugh and smile. He's such a sweet boy...
Also, Chris and I have learned a weird comforting thing he does at bed time...he rubs the back of his head! As soon as we lay him down with his pacey, his hand goes to the back of his head and he rubs it. His hand is usually still there in the morning too...he has a bald spot there now from all the rubbing he does! What a cutie pie!!

He is such a cutie!! What fun it was to see him laugh! Christopher, do you remember that you used to rub your ear to comfort yourself? Actually, I think you once told me that you just liked the feel of your earlobe! You used to have your hand to your ear on a regular basis.
The exersaucer will be great for him. Cally went to the doctor today and the little cutie is only in the third percentile for weight! She only weighs 15 lbs and 3 oz at nine months! What does Mickey weigh now? He probably officially has her beat now!
Keep loving on him; he's the sweetest grandson in the world!
Love, Grandma
You just wait til he starts moving about!! Then the real fun begins!!!
I'm sure his Uncle Roan can teach him a thing or 2 about what to get into.
But then again he does look like an angel and Roan is a bit of an imp.
