He's Getting Too Big...I Don't Know What I Think About It

So, Mickey has been pulling himself up onto everything lately. Couches, stairs, toys, baby equipment, anything he can find. We are definately keeping a closer eye on him. He loves being able to get around and do more too. He hasn't been going for wires as much which I appreciate, but he loves to head for the kitchen where he can pound on the floor and pull himself up on the microwave cart which makes me extremely nervous.

He's been doing "praise the Lord" lately which is where he raises his hand to the sky (he's seen people doing it at church and started mimicking it) and he wants us to do it with him. He even yells at you sometimes until you do it with him. It's really cute.

No teeth yet but I think that some are going to be coming in soon. Hopefully...he's been a little cranky lately and I think that's why. I guess we will see.

Such A Busy Boy

Mickey has been very active lately! He crawls everywhere to get to everything that he wants. His favorite thing to try and play with is cords and Chris's guitars, so Mommy has to be very aware of where he is at all times. He likes to crawl to the kitchen floor and pound on it with his hand. He definitely likes to make noise. He has one of those little baby pianos that he likes to play with too. He sings along while he pounds the four keys too. He just loves music.

He's also been doing this thing where he raises his left hand in the air and just leaves it there. Sometimes he then starts smacking everything, but most of the time he just holds it there for awhile. He's also started pushing himself up on things that are low to the ground. He can push himself up on my legs or the guitar case. When he crawls he also gets on his toes sometimes too. This boy wants to walk so badly. What happened to my little baby boy??

He loves to say "dadada" which Chris loves and sometimes he says "mamama". He also purses his lips together and says "oooh" and looks very surprised. Too adorable. I cannot believe that he is almost 7 months old...that's over half of a year...ahh!
